First of all, thanks for stopping b...O'Young --
First of all, thanks for stopping by and giving the blog a read. And thanks for leaving comments. I do not always have time to respond, but I read all comments and do not hesitate to post negative comments. The blog comments are moderated to keep out spam and trolls.

There will be more about Mr. Walker. I believe there is a good deal about him that conservatives should object too.

And I have no interest in having a choir for this blog. I like to preach in the agora.Michael James Hillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06666000367238039443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36955204.post-38367041174130704322011-03-01T09:09:41.148-06:002011-03-01T09:09:41.148-06:00An interesting post. Having learned more about Mr...An interesting post. Having learned more about Mr Walker recently, I enjoyed your comment: "I doubt that Wisconsin governor Scott Walker has read Ayn Rand because I doubt that this college dropout has read much of anything. His singular talent is to get himself elected to office. As Milwaukee County Executive, he solved none of the county's problems. He dedicated himself to reducing government and taxes without regard for the consequences.
I do not know that he is a Randian. He has drunk the Kool-Aid. His ideological purity has brought on moral corruption."

I am not a Liberal by any means; I am a conservative, though my credentials as a Republican appear to suffer from erosion, especially in the current political climate. I am probably more of a right leaning centrist. Mr Walker is riding a wave, or maybe hanging on to the pendulum as it sojourns on the right side of its arc. His actions smack of political expediency run amok, which will be to the detriment of all - including those who currently support his aims of immediate, egoistic gratification.

Open discourse around what is happening in the country is a hallmark of democracy - one doesn't have to agree, but at least we can talk and debate, and maybe even see things from the viewpoint of the other side.O'Youngnoreply@blogger.com
